Off The Rails

Off The Rails is the perfect spot for a pre-game before an event at US Bank Stadium, The Armory, or just a great spot to kick-off a night downtown! Conveniently located right off the rails (Teehee!) of The Commons park in front of the US Bank Stadium.

They host a live music Happy Hour set on Wednesdays from 6pm-9pm April - October,
and the very occasional Friday and Saturday night, depending on events happening nearby.

This room is great for solo acts, duos, and three-piece acts looking to make some $ and break into the Downtown MPLS scene.
Covers and originals are okay to play here.
You must provide your own sound system. They have a small stage, so if you are a trio looking to play here, you'd best to keep it no more than a kick/snare/hi-hat kit + guitar + bass. No 4-piece rock bands, please.
The Whiskey Jar
The Whiskey Jar is a brand new venue in Delano, MN. It's a great spot for solo-trio acts indoors, and can accommodate a full band outside during the Summertime.Though it is brand new, Whiskey Jar has already made a name for itself as the premier spot in town for quality live music. Every Saturday night they feature touring acts from all around the U.S. and Minneapolis.Friday nights are saved for local talents.Occassionally they host large music events, such as St. Patrick's Day parties, and street fests.Music is FREE and goes from 7pm-10pm. Country, Pop, Bluegrass music works best in this venue.
